The transfer film

Wax-based film:

This is the most commonly used in applications coupled with a vellum paper or coated paper. This film has a low resistance to abrasion and solvents. High optical density (very dark movie).

Film/resin-based wax:

Mixed quality, composed of wax and resin, provides a better resistance to abrasion of the printing paper lightly coated or glossy kromekote type. It's a film harder than the film base wax and usually requires a higher intensity of heating than the printhead.

Film resin:

The film is a resin ribbon called "hard" specially used on substrates or synthetic diamonds. It has a high resistance to abrasion and solvents. It is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical or electronics. This tape requires a heating temperature significantly higher than other materials because of its hardness.
